Privacy & cookies
This notice explains what personal data the Red Line website processes, why, and the choices you have. In short: we only receive what you choose to send us, and we only use analytics if you agree.
Who we are
The website redline.mk is operated by Red Line (Red Line PR & Strategic Communications), Skopje, North Macedonia, founded by Ana Shutinoska. Red Line is the controller of the personal data described here. For any question about your data, write to ana.shutinoska@redline.mk.
What we collect
When you write to us. When you send the contact form, your name, organisation (if given), email address and message are delivered by our email service, Resend, to Ana’s inbox, and you receive an automatic email confirming that we received it. The website itself does not store your message. If the form cannot be sent, it opens your own email app instead. We use what you send only to reply and to handle the matter you raise. The same applies when you email us directly. To prevent abuse, the form briefly checks how often it is used from your network address; this is not stored.
When you browse. Like any website, the servers that deliver these pages process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, in order to deliver the site and keep it secure.
We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or make automated decisions about you.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used: for example, which pages are read and how visitors arrive. It runs only after you choose “Accept” in the cookie bar. Until then, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is sent. The legal basis is your consent.
If you accept, Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_FDGMJQGPQG, which distinguish visits and are kept for up to two years. It collects data such as the pages viewed, approximate location (country and city, derived from your IP address), device and browser type, and the site that referred you. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Advertising features are not used: advertising consent stays denied and ad data is redacted.
Google (Google Ireland Limited) provides this service on our behalf and may process data in other countries, including the United States, under its own safeguards.
Your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage (under rl_consent) so we don’t ask on every page. You can change it at any time through , also at the bottom of every page.
Services that deliver this site
Vercel hosts the website and processes server logs to deliver and protect it. Resend delivers contact-form messages and the automatic confirmation from servers in the EU (Ireland) and keeps delivery records for a limited period. The typefaces and animation libraries are served from this website itself, so no font or script service receives your data when a page loads. Google Tag Manager loads the analytics configuration and does not set cookies itself. Links to LinkedIn and Instagram take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any engagement that follows, and is then deleted unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Google Analytics keeps event-level data for two months; aggregated reports that do not identify you remain available afterwards. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a short period for security and operations.
Your rights
Under North Macedonia’s Law on Personal Data Protection, which follows the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw your consent to analytics at any time; this does not affect processing that took place before.
To exercise these rights, write to ana.shutinoska@redline.mk. We will reply within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the Agency for Personal Data Protection (azlp.mk).
Changes
We will update this notice when the website or the services it uses change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
